You will need to purchase the futon cover seperate from the mattress, they are sold seperately. You may find what you're looking for at my source site.

A futon mattress has just padding in it, no springs or anything like that, whereas a bed mattress has a wire frame and springs (unless it's a TempurPedic, in which case it's just foam). So, it will not fold correctly if you try to fold the futon frame back into a sofa. However, if you are using the futon frame just as a bed frame and don't intend on folding it up into a sofa, you can use the bed mattress.

I'm assuming you're asking because you have a bed mattress already. If you don' have either and are going to go buy one or the other, a futon mattress will be less expensive.

Probably not. A regular mattress normally has springs in it, which would prevent it from "folding" when you've got the frame in the "up" position. Most futons mattresses are simply the stuffing and will fold easily.
