I can find several references to it, but for the most part it's saying "Don't have sex. If you HAVE to, do it inside a marriage, but it's best not to."
(Rom. 1:27, 1 Cor. 7: 5, 29)

And other references (Mark 12:25) to there being no sex in Heaven (is the ideal life the chaste one then?).

No where can I find a passage to support a statement that contemporary Christians could use to say what I've often heard that "Sex (between married man and woman) is meant to be enjoyed."

At best, it is seemed to be distasteful in the extreme, but if one cannot control ones baser desires, if you absolutely HAVE to, do so in marriage (1 Cor.).

That's probably the most depressing thing I've ever heard. What am I missing? Is there some passage that extols the virtues of sex? The best I've found is that Heb. 13:4, which says not to commit adultery, sort of saying the above, that marital sex would not be Judged. Is that the best they can do?

I am a first year second grade teacher. The father of one of my TAG students pops in randomly during the year to observe. At the beginning of the year he told me he runs his own business, so I assume he's got a pretty open schedule.

Anyway, he only comes to observe me when I am teaching math toward the end of the day. Why is this? Is he concerned that his child is not getting adequate math instruction? I don't know how to ask without sounding rude.
