I think my well has collapsed so I want to drill another one. I am not sure how deep I need it to go. The one I have goes down about 100 ft if I am not mistaken. I live in west Tx. I just need a ball park figure to have a new well drilled. Include having someone do it for me with the cost of all new supplies. I also need to know what all i will need.

The best way to get a pretty good estimate is to contact some local well drillers. They are usually more that willing to give you a ball park estimate. That is specially true for the friendly folks in West Texas.

Prices vary by region, because of what the drillers have to go thru, how deep, etc. Your local drillers will know what's standard for your area.

In our neck of the woods (southern MO - lots of rock to drill thru), a standard well will run about $5k... thats steel cased, to around 200ft to 250ft with everything included (even the pump, and bladder tank).

Oh, as for what all you will need.... your local drillers, again, will know that...(permits, communicating with DNR, etc)

Good Luck
