I just moved into my new place and I have all white walls. I have an espresso colored bedroom set and a white rug just like in the picture I'm putting up here, but I have a sage green duvet cover which is a little lighter than the picture. What color should I go with on my walls that is complimentary without being too neutral?

Orange. It'll brighten the room up, & you'll have fun finding matching accessories... :)

Based on your explanation and those images, I will leave it in white.

White brings out the contrast needed for the espresso and the light sage.

Moreover, white can accomodate any duvet or bedsheet colours that you will change in the future.

No need to paint, so you can save some cost for 1 of many other things that you need to do/buy since you've mentioned you just moved in to a new place.

Check out "caen stone" by sherwin williams. It's a peachy-yellow color that will look great with the sage, make a smashing backdrop for the dark furniture, and it will brighten up the whole room.

I don't know the specific name for the color I am suggesting, but I suggest a paint the same color as hot chocolate.

Try going to a site called glidden.com. You can pick ANY color from their color chart and actually see a room painted with that color, it is really cool.

well pick something that matches your covers and also look at your weather. If mostly your in a hot place then do a light color that might help you rest better.

Benjamin Moore:
gingerroot CC-274 (maybe canadian colour collection only)
decatur buff HC-38
hint of mauve 2097-50
sant fe tan 2097-40
these would all look good.
