If there are two airplanes with the same engine and prop.
One airplane has 200 horse power and the other has 400 horsepower but same engines and same size prop spinning at the same RPMs.
How does more horse power affect the thrust when both airplanes move the same amount of air?

Gas stove burners are rated in BTU; electric burners in W. I can convert watts to BTU/hr, or BTU to kWh. They have different dimensions.

When they tell me a burner is 10,000 BTU, I wonder - is that if it's left on for an hour? That seems to be the only way to make the units match.

I have about 50 acres of land in Louisiana. A person on a neighboring piece of land about 400 yards over is having a well put in place on his land. I'm almost positive that there is oil and gas on my property as well. Testing has shown oil to be throughout the area. It follows a path once called the Tuscaloosa Trend. What is the best route I can take to have a well set up on my property to allow drilling?

I have a BMW 316i (Shape: E30) and I need to know what resistance I'll need from the battery to a strip of 10mm superbright LEDs.

Here's a link to the page I'll be buying from, just need to know what resistor I'll need for a circuit of maybe 10 - 15 of these LEDs.

Not sure what the difference is of the 2 LEDs on that page but the bottom one looks like it might be brighter so could anyone tell me what resistor I'll need for that one?

We have all seen those "shake flashlights" and the "Hand crank radios."

If I want to build a motor to generate electrical energy, how would I do that. Maybe there is some science store that sells a kit.

Also, assume you have this motor, which when you exert mechanical energy, converts it into electrical, how would you store the said converted energy.

Thank You!

If so, how easy was it to get a job after college? I'd just go ahead and be a full out engineer but that'll double the time it takes to get done with college..
