I have had this idea for several weeks. Build mechs, Like in Mechwarrior 3. It would cost alot of money, and there would be staybility issues, But couldnt it be possible? They're making small robots, that can walk on their own, so why not take that, and make it on a larger scale?

I want to make something like a crystal radio to light up a small LED. I am not near a station, so I am guessing it wont be enough to power an LED, so what if I use a capacitor to collect the energy and then only light up the LED for a few seconds at a time?

Is this possible and if it is how can I do it?

I am new to heat-treat and I just got hired in at a company that unfortunately does not (yet) have gas analyzers. Is there a way (besides after the fact) to detect a furnace leak say from the flame color?

...in particular a three dimensional circle,as 1 radial degree holding (diagramatically of course) numerals, functions, and results, another degree holding numerals, a different function than function A, and results, etc, my very very real question is how do I incorporate the numerous states(degrees of) positive/negative value, as like an x/y graph, without it becoming a mess, ps. the actual length of the numerical lines are irrelevant, they can be 1 to 100 or a google per line, or abstract function values.

The side a of a triangle ABC is calculated from the following formula
a/(sin(A) = b/sin(B)
where lower-case letters refer to the sides and upper-case letters refer to the angles opposite those sides.
The side b may be in error by 1.1%.
A and B are given as 25 degrees and 58 degrees respectively, to the nearest degree.
Using partial differentiation find the greatest percentage error in the calculated value of a.
