I own a 1992 Ford F250 with the 5.8 motor ( 351 W ), it has 150000 miles on it, every 2500 miles I have to replace the cap and rotor due to corrosion, what could be causing this?

I have replaced the Distributor it self, all new wires, condensor, and plugs.

It is the 2 piece cap, it has the tower then the cap, I have put expensive caps on but that doesn't matter

WEhat could be causing this?? just old maybe??

Tom had been in the liquor business for 25 years. Finally sick of the stress he quits his job and buys 50 acres of land in Alaska as far
from humanity as possible. He sees the postman once a week and gets groceries once a month. Otherwise it's total peace and quiet.
After six months or so, of almost total isolation, someone knocks on his door. He opens it and a huge, bearded man standing there.
"Name's Lars, your neighbor from forty miles up the road. Having a Christmas party Friday night... Thought you might like to come. About
5:00."
"Great", says Tom, "after six months out here I'm ready to meet some local folks. Thank you."
As Lars is leaving, he stops. "Gotta warn you......be some drinkin'."
"Not a problem" says Tom. "After 25 years in the business, I can drink with the best of 'em."
Again, the big man starts to leave and stops. "More 'n' likely gonna be some fightin' too."
"Well, I get along with people, I'll be all right. I'll be there, Thanks again."
"More'n likely be some wild sex, too,"
"Now that's really not a problem" says Tom, warming to the idea "I've been all alone for six months! I'll definitely be there. By the way,
what should I wear?"

In regards to a lying, cheating, two-faced, coke-head, that I happen to be in love with STILL.

I love him for who he is and aside from those things....hes funny, charming, witty, kind, intelligent, fun, wonderful taste in music, he's pretty much a millionaire, the sex is great, we were really good friends first too. BUT HE LIES TO ME AND HURTS ME OVER AND OVER

My rationale was that i love him& he will come around and realize. i know he feels bad-i can see it hurts him to see me hurt, but not enough i guess. I've been patient, understanding, and forgiving. I bite my tongue- grin and bare it....yet he continues. I've trying yelling, crying, fighting, talking....WHAT WILL WORK??? even if he never changes and I leave him with no explanation...do you think he will one day wake up & feel bad for everything he has done to me? If anything-i just want2 know that he will hurt atleast a little if I go. Knowing that, I may have the strength to go-ive just been scared bc i know he wont follow

Got married this year in September. He made 120K (income & investments). I made close to 90K. We just closed on a house in October (300K). For 9 months out of the year my W4 withholdings were single/5. His were single/1.

I'm concerned

1. I didn't have enough taken out because I was claiming for myself and children. before i was married this worked out! I got some $ back.

2. Can we get any credit for closing costs and taxes paid on our home?

3. Will charitable gifts reduce our tax liability? around $5000 given this year.

4. Are we better off filing joint or separately?

I'm scared we're going to have a huge tax bill come tax time.

I just bought the marineland 350 canister filter yesterday with some gift cards I got for xmas to my LFS.

The darn thing was $110 and I can't even take the top off! I tried to put the polishing filter on last night and I could NOT get the lid off withough getting water ALL OVER the place!

I do not have the 'deluxe' one. Just the regular one.

How are you supposed to change your filter media every could weeks if it just spews water everwhere when you take the lid off? I looked in the instructions and it doesn't give any advice on this subject. This is my first canister filter, HELP!
