I've tried different batteries, plugging into a PC via USB, but ,alas, no sign of life. Is it time for a new camera? Or can this one be rescued

My boyfriend who is of Indian background with parents living in India, will not tell his parents that we are in a relationship. I have met them, but he introduced me as a friend. He says that he wants to finish his studies before telling them, as otherwise they would blame him for not studying well, on the relationship. He has told his friends in India about me, but hasn't really allowed me to interact with them, which he says is because of the fact that he hardly talks to them himself and sees no point in me just talking on the phone with them.
We have been dating for more than 1.5 years and have talked about marriage and kids. He says he can only tell them just before he gets married to me...which is similar to my situation too. The only reason why my parents found out, was because they saw me and him together.
Does anyone have any idea what is going on his mind?
Especially anyone of an Indian background? I'm not an Indian, but from the subcontinent myself.

Kind of going off what KHNBS1 said...does a couple that has sex before marriage have to get married? Because I don't find anything that would say that is the case. Many Christian websites (gotquestions.org, christiansanswers.net) don't mention anything about having to get married, even when a child is concieved.

Tonight I was at the gas station getting a cup of hot chocolate...So I was at the counter paying for my stuff then all of a sudden this guy came beside me his arm was all over me...I thought it was my dad but it wasn't and he was all close to me and everything like I knew him! But he was a total stranger. Then he pulled out his wallet to pay for gas and acted as if I wasn't there...The cashier looked at me and I looked at her and I was just in awe that someone would do such! What do you think he meant by doing this? Why are people so rude!?

condoms, pill, coil etc are 99% safe so 1 person in 100 can get pregnant Pill does not stop you getting an STD. Most people do not normally show sysmtoms of pregnancy in the first few weeks so if you are 1 week late and feel sick it does not mean you are pregnant. Let me start off by saying that I'm not a hairy guy to begin with, but I do shave and trim my pubic hair when it get too long. I dread shaving because I always get red bumps from irritation no matter how gentle I am. Are there any products out there that you can simply apply to remove hair?
