I have chosen the political category, because politicians are always ruling Joe and Jane Publics lives without a clue of HOW to deal with the problem due to the FACT they do NOT LISTEN to Joe and Jane Public, PLUS, Bishops are allowed to sit in the House of Lords in order presumably to have an input on the spiritual, moral and pastoral guidence inserted into any new legislation passed...? (IF not what are they doing there then?)

This might be a "solution" for politicians... who've tried and tested everything else including sending the scallywags on EXPENSIVE HOLIDAYS paid for by hard working tax payers.. !!!

Can anyone tell me more about these people? I know they are not communist, seem to be religious, & are of Russian origin, but did not conform to social/religious reforms before & during the Бolshevik revolution.

Now that smoking has been banned in most enclosed public places and all places of work, has that made you more honest to yourself about the real reason you started smoking?

Do you now accept it as a character flaw?

Since society has made it clear that it does not admire your habit, will you finally admit to yourself that the real reason you started smoking was to be admired? (for being hard, or cool, or rebellious, or thin).

Do you feel like even more of a rebel now that you have to "sneak out the back to quickly suck off a f4g"? (Note to Yahoo - f4g is British slang for cigarette).

Since you can't smoke in public, do you subject your children to even more passive smoke at home? Doesn't that make you feel guilty, or does it make you feel like even more of a hero?

Our song is the slamming screen door,
Sneakin' out late, tapping on your window
When we're on the phone and you talk real slow
Cause it's late and your mama don't know
Our song is the way you laugh
The first date "man, I didn't kiss her, and I should have"
And when I got home ... before I said amen
Asking God if he could play it again......

Little too early for singing? lol

I had an impatien plant for 2 years...it was a gift from one of my children for Mother's Day. Anyway, it lived in a hanging basket and was fine. I would give it a shot of liquid Miracle-gro about every three months.

For both years, I repotted it in the early summer and put it outside for the warm months. It did wonderfully outdoors, blooming profusely. I was even able to root a second plant from a bit that broke off.

The first year, I brought the plants back in, and the blooming stopped for the winter, but the plants were leafy and well. This year, when I brought them back in, they turned sickly and limp, the stems became wrinkled and mushy and sections began dying. I tried covering them with a clear plastic bag to protect from drafts, but they just looked worse.

They're still alive, but almost all of the leaves have gone and the stems all have a pointed, dried end. Can I save my Mother's Day plant??

Many doctors say several diseases like diabetes, cardio ailments, even cancer are sometimes herditary. If you are stricken with one they ask if any in the family circle had been stricken with it.

With medical research reaching such proportions with gene theory, dna, cloning etc could a doctor now tell you by tests whether you posess those genes or straits that you had inherited from your father's or mother's side which could be a potential threat to your health in the future.

Could they also specifically say which is predominant so that you can take counter action before it overtakes you

Why is it that people from other countries are always getting on Americans for everything? Not speaking enough languages, acting ignorant, stuck up? I don't get it especially the language thing. I don't understand why people say Americans need to learn more languages, and that Europeans know three to four. OK, they live next to many different countries that speak many different languages America is next to Canada and Mexico, so excuse us dumb Americans for God having us born in this country, and it seems to me that in other countries they speak their language soley. In some countries the only reason they speak another language is because the govt. requires it. Everyone is always talking about how ignorant and judgmental Americans are, but aren't they doing the same thing by judging us? I don't know who died and made every other nation the voice of reason. It is just so hypocritical. Does anyone understand why we (Americans) are just soooooo dumb? Cause I certainly dont.

I am trying to find some information on canning high-sugar foods using the water bath method. I have read that high-sugar food are not a risk for botulism, only mold, yeast and spoilage so they can be canned using the water bath method.

However I am trying to find some good information on what "high sugar" is. I want to can some "dulce de leche" (caramel sauce) and I really can't imagine anything much higher in sugar than a caramel. However most sources seem to say you can't can caramel, most of them state because it contains dairy. Well that is clearly incorrect as you can can lemon curd using the water bath method and it contains butter and eggs (and I worked for a catering company that did this and despite using the dumbest water bath method involving a steamer table that had trouble achieving a real boil it always passed health board testing)

So does anyone have any info on how to tell if something is "high" enough in sugar?

Have you canned caramel sauce?

I know where he is (Europe. He's an engineer and a writer.) But he wants me to fly out there to see him since it's easier than him getting a visa to come here. I don't think I'm interested for very personal reasons.

Anyone relate to this? Anyone go through with meeting their long lost father?

I read in the site France24 an article about Turkish Army's new offensive against the PKK terrorists in Northern Iraq.
Readers can react and post their opinions, as it's common now in every newpapers online.
And I saw a message of someone who dared writing " I support PKK".
As the page and the message are in french language, I suspect this person to live currently in France ( or at least in Europe )
I reported the abuse to the site France24, but the message still remains.
So should I call the police, or simply inform the Turkish Consulate in Paris?
If police identifies his IP, then he will be arrested and prosecuted for sure ( as PKK is considered as a terrorist organization in UE ).
I couldn't even post a message on this website, and that gets me even more upset ( when I try to submit my post, a message says " an error has occured" ).

And please could you also report this person?
