I read in the site France24 an article about Turkish Army's new offensive against the PKK terrorists in Northern Iraq.
Readers can react and post their opinions, as it's common now in every newpapers online.
And I saw a message of someone who dared writing " I support PKK".
As the page and the message are in french language, I suspect this person to live currently in France ( or at least in Europe )
I reported the abuse to the site France24, but the message still remains.
So should I call the police, or simply inform the Turkish Consulate in Paris?
If police identifies his IP, then he will be arrested and prosecuted for sure ( as PKK is considered as a terrorist organization in UE ).
I couldn't even post a message on this website, and that gets me even more upset ( when I try to submit my post, a message says " an error has occured" ).

And please could you also report this person?

I called the Consulate, and in fact the "memur" just adviced me to call the police. But I said her that I know that the french police won't do anything someone who "just" write " I support PKK". And then I insisted and told her that I would send an email describing the problem, and also with link of the page of France24 ( with the mentionned post of the individual ).
So I sent them a mail, and they will probably think whether filing a complaint or not . If a foreign diplomatic entity files a complaint, it's obviously considered much more serious by the french authorities, but then we don't know what they will do exactly. I hope they will at least begin an investigation and ask the France24 website administrator about the IP of this individual
Let's wait and see...

At least, my friends, try also to send an email to the Turkish Consulate in Paris...I suppose that massive mails from several persons will be much more efficient...

Here is the website of the Turkish Consulate in Paris :

http://pagesperso-orange.fr/tcparbsk/

Apparently there is not a straight email adress, and we have to sent our emails via the website or via this adress too :
www.e-konsolosluk.net

Of course, you can write in either turkish, french or english language.

Thank you in advance.

That writer doesn't seem to be French as there are too many spelling mistakes. I would report it to the embassy and advise them to contact the police as they need a warrant!

I sent them an e-mail, telling them to get rid of it and that the Turkish Embassy will be informed about it!
I also sent them a message and it went thru but I don't see it on the page yet....do you think they are screening them first?

Edit: They published my message!!!

Fatih,
Once in Paris we were in pizza restaurant and we were talking in Turkish and a couple were sitting near us eating. They asked us whether i was Turkish or not and i said "yes i am" and the woman said "Oh and we are Kurdish" (we were talking in Turkish) i said oh, ok and turned back to my friend. The woman wanted to talk to me so she said that they are considered as traitors in Turkey because they worked for PKK before and they came to France because they accepted them here.
So, i was shocked because PKK is a Kurdish terrorist group and France accepted them. I started to get angry and i said "but this is nonsense, i don't believe you, you just want to create a scene but i will not give you that chance"
That was my first month in France but then i learned that French government accepted many people like this.
So, these guys are even feeling free to talk people in the middle of the city like this.
I really don't understand France's politics. Do they want to feed the terrorists?
Voila! C'est con, non? It is stupid right?
What would happen if Turkey did the same thing to them, i don't even want to imagine!!!
A baby killer is a terrorist, i can not see any other definition of that!

If there was in Turkey a Corsican or a Basque person who posts support messages to Armata Corsa,FLNC or ETA on a website in turkish language, for sure France and Spain Embassy would demand to Turkish authorities to catch this individual.
That's why we are in a plain legitimate reaction, as we require security and justice everywhere in the world.

So, call the Consulate, and they'll do what it takes, for sure.

You should definitely notify the French police. A terrorist is a terrorist, no matter what country they're from. I don't think they'd want to risk an injury in their own country if the guy/girl lives there. They've already been through enough bomb attacks from a few weeks ago (if you remember in the news), so I don't think they'd risk it again.

Erm... will you call the French police that ignores PKK's drug activities on the condition that they behave nicely in France and won't bomb anywhere?

I don't know. I am not very optimistic about taking it on legally. I think being vocal would help more.
