sounds like your relay switch has gone bad...or the thermostate

Is it a constant clicking on and off repeating fast or slow from inside the air handler or do you have a package unit? If its from the inside of air handler click on and off fast you could have loose connection or the relay or thermostat maybe bad. I would suggest calling a qualified repair man to check system out.

Trane systems have a 5 year warranty. You should be able to call your installer or Trane technician.

it could be cycling on and off for several reasons...For example.. If it is very cold outside it will cycle to keep itself from freezing over. this would be perfectly normal.

But it could also be a problem like refrigerant loss, or a faulty relay...

The big issue is weither or not it is keepin the house at the desired tempature. If not, you should shut it off and have a qualified person check it out.
