I scored a pit pass at the races in Talladaga as an intern in 1992 (give or take a year) when I was at a news station. I got right in the face of Dale Earnhardt and took a great candid shot of him from the shoulders up (no zoom needed). I also have pictures standing in front of the Goodwrench car (as well as others featuring me along the line of cars). Is this picture or the others worth anything? I am not callous to what happened, but I am not a racing fan.

I'm a huge fan of his been a fan since 2003 when I first saw him.
I also got to see him win his first Cup race at Dover in 2007. I remember playing Blackjack the night before since the race was rained out and I won three games in a row and told my stepdad, his brother and their friend from work Truex will be the man to beat! It happened!!!! Truex is the Best Driver ever and will be Total Domination in 2008!! And Paul Menard will win a few races too!!

It's getting pretty close to Daytona and there haven't been any official announcements on sponsors for the 01 (Regan Smith), the 27 (Jacques Villeneuve), the 40 (Dario Franchitti), or the two Yates cars - 28 (Travis Kvapil) and 38 (David Gilliland). Wow, driving around in a super smooth circle with your foot to the floor really looks tough...pah. the only talent needed for that is to avoid contact which has nothing to do with driving skill.

Racing in the rain is gods gift to racing fans. Sorts the men from the boys.

Dale Jr. would have run the entire Busch season and won the championship in a close points battle with Edwards.
There would have been more TV viewers, more ticket sales, more sponsorship exposure, etc..
