i used to watch Nascar religiously.I guess I just got tired of watching cars going around in circles for hrs. on end. Now i'd rather watch Monster Jam. My personal favs are Maximum Destruction and An Escalade. Which of these would you rather watch?

Let me rant first because I will be missing the first 5 days of SPEEDS coverage!!!... but on the up-side to that it's because I will be in Tulsa watching the 2008 Chili Bowl but I will be recording it all from home on the DVR so I won't miss much!

But for all you other fans.. Are you highly anticipating Jan. 7th? FINALLY.. SOME REAL NASCAR COVERAGE! Sure, It's just testing.. but it'll be worth it just to see whos running @ the top of the charts, and seein' all the driver interviews. It's better than nothing!

hi, i'm 17 years old, and well, i think it's time 2 start choosing a job i can live with. i know i want to do something with nascar, but i also want to go to college 4 it. so what is there that fits those qaulifications? i don't want 2 be a driver or work in the pits.

I like Dale Jr and think he's a good driver, but not one of the elite ones like Stewart, Kenseth, Gordon & Johnson. If his name wasn't Dale Earnhardt, Jr, to me he'd be as popular as Dave Blaney or Scott Riggs. Your thoughts.

Ive flipped channels and come across mexican stations and soccer does not have commercials. with all the advertisement on the cars and at the races, why are there so many commercials when watching a race at home it really gets oon my nerves..... you watch 5 laps of racing and 4 laps of commercials.

How good is the reception if you have one of the portable ones? Can you take it anywhere and still have a good reception? What if you take it into a school or any other building that has thick walls?

I haven't talked to anyone that agrees Mears will be a CHASE contender in 08'. I think his first season in a banged up #25 car went good! Even though his one win came on a fuel mileage gamble, he had some great runs and rallied to that 15th place finish in the standings. He improved his #'s in Wins, Top 5's, Top 10's, and his points finish in 2007, compared to his previous 4 seasons. Now he is jumping into a car/team that has proved it can make the CHASE year in, and year out... Having Gustafson is going to improve his abilites as a driver even more and I predict atleast 3 wins. I really think this move for Casey is going to make him a strong contender each week. So my early prediction is Casey gets 3 wins, 1 on a Superspeedway, and the other 2 most likely on Intermediate tracks. He will make the CHASE and finish strongly in the TOP-10.

ALSO - I hope he runs in the 24HRS of Daytona.. Remember, Mears was the FIRST full-time NASCAR driver ever to win it in 2006.

the fastest 43 should be in the race.if nascar wants to make it an equal playing field,then get rid of the top 35 and champions provisionals.it's not right that 9 cars could be faster than gordon or any top 35 car and one would not make the race.i'm done with nascar.all they want to do is help the sponsors.what about the fans?speak up.lets here your voice.

... I was curious about maybe creating a little extra boost for a stock engine. I read that adding a gallon of toluene to the fuel can boost the power a good bit. (I do have the actual formulas for figuring correct octane mixtures)

... Is it safe from time to time to do this to a stock 350 chevy engine with swirl port heads?

I want to see the black car for the daytona 500 Pepsi 400, Indy 500, and both Talladega Races too. If Earnhardt was still racing he will be very hard to beat because he always help out his son to win races and Mr. Earnhardt was a very POPULAR driver back in the 80's,90's, and 2000 too.
