... I was waiting for that Chevy. If in a year or two the chassis is going to be the same on the Nationwide cars as the cup cars then why not have two cup series then?

I think they have it already, Harvick and Edwards both cup super stars have won the last two busch titles, but not sure if Nascar would drop the Nationwide/Busch series, but there needs to be some modifications to the series thats for sure, so these new kids can get a real chance at more wins, and a chance at that title.

no cup and Busch are two completely different classes, the cars may look the same but underneath they are completely different

Busch cars a kinda a beginner before Cup

Even if the chassis is the same the drive trane will still be different for one they wont make the same power

No, you cannot because their needs to be a similar series to the Nextel (or whatever it is now) Cup but is a step or so down from the Cup. How would NASCAR sanction who goes to which series?

I think that the Busch series was developed to help out up and coming stars...It,s gotten away from that...Now it,s just like another cup race...With the stars of nascar usually filling the top 3 or 4 positions,..

Would drivers from one cup series be banned from driving in the other? I don't even look at them as different level of racing anymore. Maybe next year will seem different. But I don't think they could do 2 series that are supposed to be "top level"

you can try to make anything happen, but making things like that happen, would be a contradiction. If it was possible to spray paint a moustache on the Mona Lisa, would you do it? No! Because, that aint how we roll.

Isn't it pretty much like that now? Hasn't a cup regular won it the last two seasons? Cup & Cup Lite already.
