Most of the drivers are complaining about not having enough grip and the issue is compounded with the ill-handling COT. Do you think the racing would be better if the cars handled better or would you rather see a driver having to "wheel" a car and drive it on the edge?

Wouldn't it be great if every car in NASCAR was sponsored by a beer company? They would be trying so hard to get noticed amongst the competition that they would have a beer war and give their products away for free.
Not to worry non-beer-likers, they would accomodate you as well trying to win over all fans by giving away free wine, cokes and hot dogs as well as free tickets to the race. A beer filled society is a happy society. Ben Franklin said that beer is proof that God wanted man to be happy. Cheers! and Merry Christmas!

It seems like Budweiser is bad karma, it's not working too good for Kasey Kahne and he hasn't even started his season in his new red car. I wonder how Kasey Kahne will do in the red #9 Dodge of Budweiser.

Ok, I presume the L9 means Lap 9... LR is the position. Set 4 is obvious... But what about the 1493. I read that they put the track temperature on it... Could it be 149.3 degrees? I have a tire and am trying to identify it. I know its a test tire run in June 1999 at Richmond by Rusty Wallace. The D5962 series was tested here prior to the September Winston Cup race by Rusty Wallace. That much I know. I understand all the markings on the tire except for the 1493.

NASCAR tracks are kinda shaped like a bowl. They could dig a big oval shaped sump, that could be used to collect water during a flood, and pimped out a few days before the race. I'll bet most Norlinsers would rather have that in the 9th ward then what is there now

One of the first crashes I saw that took my breath away was Elliot Sadler's 2003 EA Sports 500 Crash at Talledega. I had never seen a car flip in front of me live before. It was truly spactactular. So, I want to know what major crash do you remember at any restrictor-plate track in Nascar.

Ive read all the articles online, and jayski says NASCAR has to change for the better by being a more diverse sport. I thought NASCAR until this past year, was @ the top of NASCAR Mountain? The highest in popularity it had been! So why the big push for more diversity? The fans aren't demanding it are they? And NASCAR is the highest its been so money isnt the issue i suppose right? So what is.. Is it just politically wrong for the sport to be predominantly white?

Not a racist, Just wondering what fans thought about this issue.. Are you mad @ NASCAR for not being more diverse? and is it really NASCARs fault?
