i just need to let yall know that i`m a true nascar fan to for atleast 10 years so i know a few things about the sport yeah diehard jeffburton fan along with others like #20 and the new dew #88 and i`m not talking about dale jarret if i have to say so anyway its allmost time for another dew if you know what i mean lol well take care yall and happy holidays take care and later.

I miss the "real" NASCAR, not this watered-down, PC, cookie-cutter cars on cookie-cutter tracks, wannabe "racing" series. S-can prince Brian, and let's get back to the beatin' and bangin', drivers saying what they want and meaning what they say, balls-to-the-wall, all out, free-for-all, real stock car racing!!
Jim M, you bet I'm bitter. I'm bitter that there aren't enough hours in the day to follow ALL of the series I follow, OUTSIDE of NASCAR. If I were to watch a single 1/2-hour program on each series I follow, I couldn't watch all of them in one day. NASCAR is just one small part of my motorsports experience, and I hate what "Prince Brian" is doing to our beloved NASCAR. This PC crap has got to stop. Pretty soon, all a driver is going to be able to say after a win is "We did good today. Our (submit 1/2 hour of sponsors names) car was good." Let alone the interview after a crash..... "Awe, shucks. I got wrecked." Let them speak their minds. I'd like to see what happens when "Prince Brian" smacks his thumb with a hammer. Does he say "awe, shucks, that hurt," or does he cuss and carry on like the other 99.9% of the human population do?

i miss nascar alot. Jeff Gordon #24 is my favorite. At least they let Dale Jr. keep the 8 but they have 2 8's now. what i mean is, they added 1 more 8 so they let him keep the 8. i just cant wait till february 2008 when it really starts gettin' into gear. I can't contain myself hoping that this year will be better than the others.

Oh heck ya!! It won't be too long now, I hate Sundays now. There is nothing on to watch. I spend a lot of time on Nascar.com & a bunch of racin sites just to keep up on what's goin on.
Put away all the Christmas stuff next weekend n get out the Nascar stuff. I either gotta buy more or find a whole lot of #8's n add em to my stuff I have ton's of. Heck...I even gotta get new lanyards. Let the fun begin...I'm ready!

when i was little i would watch the sport all the time what i miss about nascar is well the action and the exciment. Both of my favorite stars are going to be gone. Rusty wallace retired and Dale Jarrett lost his competion there is no hope.

Wow- JG1194 and Ray Y., it must really be an unhappy world you live in. It sucks to be a "Bitter Betty." I hope that for you, a better 2008 comes around.

I can't wait for the season to begin. Just got "Ultimate NASCAR- Volumes 1-4" on DVD from my wife for Christmas.
That'll tide me over for a bit. That- and NFL football is just starting to get good. NASCAR keeps from from the worthless crap of the early season.

I frequently find myself on the couch or in the recliner curled up in the fetal position and my husband next to me with a beer in his hands begging me to take it saying "honey, it'll be ok. just take a swig of this and you'll remember. rememebr the good times, the going to the track or seeing tony on t.v.. i promise, just take a drink and it will all be ok." i look up at the clock and realize that i have somehow lost several hours. i know that in a few (ok more than a few) weeks we'll see our favirite drivers on the track again, and all will be right with the world. we will return to our nascar lifestyle. we wont begin worrying about the season being over until the chase begins again. oh why, oh why, oh why cant nascar racing be a yearlong sport??????

I can not wait until February. Boggity Boggity Boggity Boys... lets go racing. I can't wait to hear Darryl say those magic words, or see Hammond's raccoon eyes. LOL. No really.. I miss those guys.

I recorded some of the races from 2007 and I watch them over and over. Can't wait for 2008 and number 88 !!

I miss it bad. I mean all I have to watch right now is a bunch of steroid gorillas beat eachother up, uh I mean football, on sunday. I'm so looking forward to the Feb. DAYTONA 500!!!
