The "BUD" machines use to have a very successful series of runs in the days of Terry Labonte,Darell Waltrip, and Neil Bonnett. But when the "BUD" lable went to Hendrick and changed to all red, well it started to go belly up.Well the good fortunes were changing as DEI got the "BUD" logo and enjoyed limited success on the track but a lot of success in the "infield".
Well at last the ole "BUD" can is bent and battered but is hoping for new life and a new team, unless there is a
"shoving jinx" to it.

Sponsors don't have anything to do with how a car/driver performs, they just write the checks for the sponsorship..Kasey has not raced in the Bud #9 yet.. Hoperfully he will have a better season than he did this past yr.

Junior actually did good driving the #8 care he was in the top 10 late in many of the races until he got wrecked by someone 2-3 times or his engines blew on him. He was talking about leaving then all of this stuff just starting happening. Hmmmm Not saying anything.

The sponsor doesn't have much to do with how a team runs. All they do is write a check! They don't build, service, or drive the car.

don't blame it on the car or the sponsor or the color....it was the driver.....or lack of one i should say....the new season will certainly tell alot won't it? he's either going to or he isn't....but my money is on not..... just changing cars and teams can't make a good driver out of a mediocre one....and i'm not talking about kahne either.....
