Why don't they put a button on TV sets so that we can turn off the commentary part (Doherty, Wallace & Venturini) and be able to crank up the track noises of the cars and crowd. The neighbors know when its race day because the Bose are blaring throughout the 10 seconds when they shut their mouths with their asinine blabbering?

it seems to me that the circumstances surrounding dale sr.'s death are a bit off, is it just me or what? i mean, the crash was something that most drivers would have walked away from,but dale didn't. and the safety equipment is checked regularly, as per nascar regs. so it all sounds pretty fishy to me, kind of like the magic bullet theory that killed kennedy. i don't know how old most of the people on here are, but i still remember when racing was dangerous and sex was safe, and now it's just the opposite. so what is your theory, thoughts, or just rants about it.

The 25 points would only be awarded if the poll winner earns the poll. if qualifing is rained out the points leader gets the poll but not the 25 bonus points because he did not earn the poll thru qualifing. I think this would keep the points closer and you would not have a run away leader like you have had in the past.

Okay, you're in 43rd place and get a pit road violation. There are 30 cars on lead lap and 13 one lap down. Do you ; A) go to 31st place at tail end of outside line B) stay in 43rd at end of inside line C) stay in 43rd but start at the end of outside line or D) some other penalty.
By the way, Thanks to Beth for Best answer on my earlier question. I'm not real sure why I'm stumbling on this, but I appreciate the info.
