i just read this in another person's question. how are the two connected?

What does it have to do with racing,nothing.
This is another person that is making an attempt to stir up the NASCAR fans.
The reverse of this was posted in this forum last season by a couple of "trolls".So this is nothing new.
The stigma is NASCAR is a sport founded in the south and since it was everyone within the sport is labled as rednecks or members of the klan.
So this sort of I D question is just from someone wanting to stir up hatred.

I've been around the sport for 35+ yrs, and I have never seen any of this at a race track, Nascar would not tolerate any of this.. Nascar and the KKK have no connection at all..

Nothing. The KKK is the most overrated organization in the USA. There are so few left that they are hardly an issue with NASCAR. Some of their members may be fans, but that's all.

They are not connected! Nascar has everything they need! The KKK wouldn't be able to increase their bottom line!!!

I know that AAA sponsors a car but I don't think that triple K has ANY involvement in NASCAR other than I'm sure some of it's members are fans.

Hey I just did the same thing...Rednecks and klans men are nascar fans....We are being stereo typed by ignorant people...Was ronlad regan a grand dragon because he was a nascar fan?These people really get to me...Just think they are going to vote for someone to become president!!!!That,s scarey!!!!

Nothing but since the grassroots of the sport was to see who had the best moonshine runner, I figure they think the entire southern white population were Klan card carriers.
