Yes I believe it will. Mark Martin is a great driver and the DEI/RCR engine program should have the bugs worked out of their motors. Maybe even Daytona. Rember last year.

No I don't think it will. The good stuff is gonna go to the full time driver that have a chance at a championship. Mark Martin and Aric Almirola are splitting driving duties for the 8, so they will probably be the lowest in the pecking order. And if you include the RCR garage they will be the lowest of all the cars as far as getting good engines.

No, I think the 8 car will tank this year. Probably blow up 6 or 7 times like this year. Also, we don't know who will be driving it for 50% of the time when Mark Martin is not.

Yes #8 will take a checkered flag, but the police will catch them and make Teresa give it back,Dang I've always wanted to say that.
But truthfully I think the chance of the 8 car taking the checkers is very real and it may happen.

i doubt it since it going to be Mark Martin and someone else in the #8 car.... Jr is going to be in the #88 car for hendrick and i think he will see victory lane a few times this year

I doubt it. Mark has had a longer win dry spell than Jr and Mark didn't come close to a win last year after switching to DEI cars and engines.

edit....I guess people have forgotten Mark was in Hendrick cars for the first 2/3rd of the season.

Well, he might if the engines don't blow for him like they did for Jr.. I think Truax Jr should see victory lane also in 2008..Everything depends on DEI equipment, and how they get their act together in the off season...

I hope Mark Martin does get a win in the #8. I would like to see him win again before he hangs it up.(If he hangs it up)whenever that might be.

If the car is 85% Mark will win with it! That won't be Dale Jr. driving it! It will be the best nascar driver to have never won a championship!

I know the thumbs down are coming!!
