I race go carts and we have mechanic race were the mechanics race in the drivers kart they should do this in NASCAR becuase it gives the mechanics some glory...... in the winter at a track like atlant or taladega or something then like tire changers race tirechangers one race weekend catch can race catch can man next week and the drivers have to fill in the missing position.

Why not get creative ?? Here's an idea !! Pick a cookie-cutter track. It can be an Atlanta date.... Driver qualify's 'HIS' car. Then Sunday morning,draw car numbers out of a hat,and that's the car you race. Qualify well... You may pick your own car !!!
Fan's of, not so well equiped drivers would get a chance to see what their driver really has !! Every driver who made a speech at the banquet said, ''It's all about THE FAN'S right ?
The C.O.T may not put on quite a show !! They need to liven thing's up somehow. Just a thought ???

Do you think that Nascar would be more interesting if it had a salary cap like in the NFL? It would be more competitive and it would give other drivers than the ones who are associated with Rousch or Hendrick or Childress or any other big team a chance to be in it for the championship.
