I would like to get my Dad a subscription to one as part of his Christmas gift because he is a big fan, but unsure of what might be a really good one. Thanks in advance.

Just ignore the un-intelligent trolls above me.
These aren't really "NASCAR ONLY" magazines, but Stock Car Racing and Circle Track are 2 of the top racing mags out there. For real racing news, try National Speed Sport News. NSSN covers almost all racing across the country on a weekly basis, but it is kinda expensive.
Nicole, you might want to gain a little knowlege about a sport before you go around saying that it is not a sport. If you think it is so easy, and is "just turning left," why don't you come on over here, and let me give you a ride in my car? I'll haveyou screaming to be let out before I even leave the pit area, and I won't even try to scare you!!!! Now, with that said, why don't you go back to paying with your little dollys and let the grown-ups talk?

From the other suggestions that have been listed in this post, if you want a magazine, then get NASCAR Illustrated. If you want a NASCAR newspaper, then get NASCAR Scene. I am a huge fan of both of these and buy each of them quite frequently.

Nascar Scene and Nascar Illustrated are my 2 Favorites. If your Dad likes dirt racing or other Non Nascar-Circle Track!!!!

NASCAR SCENE is by far the best...It use to be called Winston Cup Scene...its is a newspaper looking weekly magazine that has all sorts of info.....on a side note you will never beat this for a nascar website... www.jayski.com

I agree with JG Race National Speed Sport News is the best!
I covers Nasar well and all other racing! It is more like a newspaper than a magazine. You should be able Google it to find out how to subscribe!!

Go with NASCAR Illustrated. I have a subscription to that and I really like it. you get all these behind the scenes articles. they have an inside look at everything and I like it. but that is just my opinion. Hope this helps!! ^_^

JG had the best ones here but there is a magazine called Racer Magazine it covers all mortorsports as well you can go to SpeedTV.com or RacerMagazine.com, they have great photos in this magazine also...

I would suggest NASCAR Illustrated. It covers great stories and it always comes with two pull out posters featuring new drivers every issue.
