I'm happy about it because now he will have a better advantage and a good chance to win a championship. Teresa only is worried about her daughter having the controlling interests in DEI when she is ready to hand over the company. She doesn;t really care about the other kids !

I don't know that I have any personal feelings one way or the other about this. I do however have an opinion.
I think it is a good move for Dale Jr. and also DEI.

I'm not ready to say that it was an equipment problem at DEI, due to the fact that other DEI drivers weren't having the same problems. I'm not ready to point the finger at Dale Jr. either, but if he has the same problems at HMS then it's got something to do with the way he drives his equipment. If that proves to be the case, he is with a top-notch organization that will be more than willing to help him make whatever adjustments are necessary for his and the organization's success. If he doesn't you have to wonder if it was in fact sabotage on the part of DEI.

Either way, Jr. gets a fresh start with a new organization, and all the problems from DEI should stay at DEI.

I love all of these people who "think" they know what is/was going on at DEI. All that we know is that Dale Jr. wanted majority ownership, and Teresa said "no." Dale didn't like that decision, so he left for HMS. All of this "she's evil...she's screwed everything up, she gave him bad equipment" etc. accusations are unfounded and unproven. Do you honestly think that RCR would have teamed up with DEI if it was run as poorly as some people claim it is?

It's already apparent by several articles that both Dale and Tony Jr. had questionable work ethics at DEI. They're both pretty much overwhelmed by how demanding HMS is of its employees. I'm pretty sure I'll get the big "thumbs down" for saying that.....but it's true.

I'm happy for him, as this is the best move for his career.

As a huge Dale Jr. and NASCAR fan, I am ecstatic that Junior is going to Hendrick Motorsports. There, I know that he will be able to win many races along with championships as well.

BUT! I do hate that he has to leave his father's company after ten years. On the other hand, I am ready for Junior to not have another blown motor for quite a while.

I am pretty happy about it. I was pretty sick of that step b**ch Theresa and all her bull**it. All those bad engines and such was a bunch of bullhonkey and nobody will convince me differently. Look how well Truex did and tell me he wasn't given the prime engine packages meant for the primary car in the team. That was no mistake. She wanted Jr to look bad and what an embarrassment she is to Dale Sr. The Hendrick Racing Team is going to put the competition to shame again this year only they will finish 1-2-3 instead of 1-2-5. The perfect team would include Kyle Busch though. I hate to see him go.

Only two things could happen, Dale won't win and will run mediocre all season, or he'll consistently be a fixture in the top 10 making all the Jr fans say, "I told you so!" The only bright spot is that we all get to find out how good he can be.

I'm so happy I can't stand it...He will finally have the chance to show all the doubters out there, that he is a great driver. Yes, its sad he had to leave the company his dad built, but he had no other choice...I'm looking for to next yr and seeing him win some races and make the chase, and have a chance at winning a championship or two... 74 days till Daytona, I can't wait..

As much as I am not happy that it is Hendrick that he is going to, I am happy for him to get out of DEI. It is sad what all he has had to go through and I am sad that he won't be driving that red Bud car anymore, but I believe that it will be better for him all-in-all and hopefully he can have a great season.

As much as I love the man Dale Earnhardt Sr. his DEI has lost it's mojo. PERIOD!
I want Jr to make a little more out of him self rather than be stuck in a do nothing company that Teresa has brought down.
As good as Brian France is at screwing up NA$CAR I doubt if could have screwed DEI up any better than she did.
They are both worthless air breathers.
