My odds on the Toyota Drivers for 2008
#20 Tony Stewart - Excellent Chance - Hes a champ. Hes running for a very good team, a racer's racer. Only his stubborness of Toyota will stop him, but I think he will race that car like there is no tomorrow anyway.
#11 Denny Hamlin - Very Good - Why not. He is very talented for a very good team.
#18 Kyle Busch - Very Good - See Denny Hamlin
#83 Brian Vickers - Decent - If he can make races, he should be able to build momentum. If he can be able to do that, and Red Bull has the cash to make that team good, I wouldnt be suprised to see him in victory lane. If you average out his points to if he made every race, the car would of been around a Top 20 car, and thats for a first year car.
#84 AJ Allmendinger - Ok - If luck goes his way, he could have a chance, not to mention that, like Vickers, he will more than likely running for his job, since Scott Speed is learning how to drive a stock car.
#00/44 David Reutimann - Ok - He is good, he just needs a good team. I think im giving him too much, but luck could go his way.
#22 Dave Blaney - Not so good - He is talented, but BDR isnt the team it once was. Ask me this question in 2002, and I will raise the odds from anywhere from Ok to Pretty Decent.
#36/27/whatever number he will run Jacques Villeneuve - Not so good - I would raise his odds on the road courses, but other than that, he is in the same boat as Dave Blaney. At least he is (from what I heard) trying to invest some of his money into BDR to boost the orginization, but I am very skeptical of him winning one.
#55 Michael Waltrip - Poor - Unless he already has done so, please give up trying to run the team, or stop driving the car.

Toyota was getting stronger by the end of the year, with the resources from Joe Gibbs Racing and the Toyota Racing Developement the chance that Tony(or other JGR drivers )winning in a Toyota is there and yes I look for Tony to get the first win.

I think Kyle Rowdy Busch might get the first win at JGR..But as far as the very first sprint cup win, I'd love to see David Reutimann get the first win for Toyota for Michael Waltrip Racing..

I would love to say Daytona 500 for Tony and Toyota, but I have a gut feeling that it will be a surprise and/or new driver winning the 500. I'm thinking Dave Blaney will get the first Toyota win, likely at the 500

It will definitely be a JGR driver but I think it will be Denny. He was really running good at the end of this season even though his finishes didn't reflect that. I think when it's all said and done he will end up with better stats than Kyle or even Tony. He seems to have the skills and passion of Smoke and Shrub but I think his race management is better than theirs. The other Toyota drivers to watch are David Reutimann and Brian Vickers. They would win races if not for their lack of competitive cars.
