Talladega super speedway was named after the city Talladega in Alabama.

Talladega nights is the name of Will Ferrel's movie mocking racing. Nights was added because there is NIGHT racing at the track as well as DAY racing.

couldn't tell you. I was ready for a very funny movie and it ended up being a bomb. Maybe I like racing to much for them to think for an instant that they could make it funny. Brian France has already taken the fun out of NA$CAR. Glad he only has the NA$CAR series.

talledega is the name of the town in alabama where the track is located. they DON'T call the track talledega nights, they just call it talledega superspeedway. talledega nights is a NASCAR themed movie starring will ferrel
