... It's cool to list dirt tracks because it makes a more informative answer but mainly I was referring to paved. If you list a dirt I would appreciate specifying that it is dirt. Thanks

Yes, Don. Kenny Wallace, Kenny Schrader, and Tony Stewart (and local promoter Bob Sargent) own Macon Speedway, in Macon, IL (my home track), Kenny S also owns I-55 Speedway in Pevely, MO. Tony Stewart owns the track at Eldora, near Rossburg, OH. Dave Blaney owon Buckeye speedway in Ohio. Dale Jr. owns a track (or 2) in Kentucky, and Andy Hillenburg just bought North Wilkesboro. IIRC, Kenny Wallace is co-owner on another track, but I can't recall it's location.

Edit - Don, All of those tracks on my list are dirt tracks, except for North Wilkesboro. That's what we run, and that's what I keep up with the most (yes, ahead of NASCAR). I am thinking that Dale Jr's second track in Kentucky is a paved track, but don't hold me to it.

My sources close to the NSC drivers say that Dale Jr. is looking at some property near Mt. Zion, IL. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 180 acres. Considering the size of the property, and it's proximity to one of Downstate Illinois' larger "cities," that could be a move to starting another track around here.

Here's some more of what I found...outside of dirt.......

Johnny Benson owns a track up in Wisconsin, called Berlin Raceway. It's a 7/16 mile paved oval.

Rusty Wallace owns Iowa Speedway near Newton, Iowa. It's a 3/4 mile tri-oval, similiar to Richmond. It hosts ARCA, IRL, ASA, and NASCAR Busch East races, along with USAC and USAR Hooter's races.
