I scored a pit pass at the races in Talladaga as an intern in 1992 (give or take a year) when I was at a news station. I got right in the face of Dale Earnhardt and took a great candid shot of him from the shoulders up (no zoom needed). I also have pictures standing in front of the Goodwrench car (as well as others featuring me along the line of cars). Is this picture or the others worth anything? I am not callous to what happened, but I am not a racing fan.

It would be worth whatever you can get from someone who really wants it. I would just keep it for my own collection.

If you have any moral values you would give it to someone who is a Dale Earnhardt fan, instead of being money hungry and degrading the sport. Then the worth would be of value as to what kind of person you are. How much you value your dignity shouldn't be dictated by a dollar sign.

Not really...NASCAR drivers are so accessible that you were probably one of about 100 people that took the very same picture. Little NASCAR memorabilia has any REAL value anymore because there is just too much of it out there.

Sentimental value to some fan somewhere. I'd keep it as a reminder of that time in your life. What are the chances of you getting to be in that situation again? Not going to happen.

My mom is a Dale Earnhardt fan and she says everything Earnhardt is worth something. Put it on ebay.

Personal value maybe. Unless they are serial numbered, or have a signature that you can prove is real, I would say no.

Maybe you can find that right buyer on EBAY.

No, not really. If it was autographed, then yes. Try selling the pictures on ebay or somethin. You could frame the pics, and get more money for them too. My lil brother loves Nascar. Our uncle, Bill (he is a famous racer, but I won't give his last name) has raced with him before!!! He even has a pic with him!!! Soon, well, sometime he is going to race in the Daytona 500 with him and other racers!!!
