Hard to say. Adding a bigger hard drive would very little when compared to the cost of a 40gb. I was even told by a shop assistant she had heard rumours of a new model after the new year.

Possible, but the US 80GB model is the same, other than the hard drive size, as the european 60GB model.
It's rumoured they may wait till the dualshock3 comes out and bundle it with that.

NO BECAUSE THE ORIGINAL PRICE OF A 60 GB PS3 IN MOST COUNTRY AROUND THE WORLD IS 270-320 POUNDS HOWEVER THE UK ADDS TAX THAT WHY ITS SO
EXPESENSIVE IT GOT MY PS3 FROM DUBAI WITH 4 GAME AND 2 WIRELESS CONTROLLS FOR 300 POUND IN THE UK THAT WOULD BE 750 POUND SO YOU SEE THE UK KNOW IF THEY GET 80 GB PS3 NO ONE WOULD BUY IT BECAUSE THE PRICE WOULD JUST BE RIDICULOUS THAT WHY PS3 DOSENT COME OUT TO THE UK
