Yeah, both me and her are with Sprint, too. They screw up constantly!!!

GOOD OL T-MOBILE cut my service off over $18. 3 weeks before my contract went out, then billed me for early termanation fee's : extra $220. Was no talking nor reasoning with the scumbags. That was 3 years ago. They are still asking for money! I paid them the $18.+ $45. last month of contract. I love calling up their 1-800 #s. I use pre-paid now by virgin mobile, no complaints!

I didnt actually pay it because it was kind of outrageous, but I had signed up under my name for a cell phone and then i had friends who wanted to be under my contract with me who promised to pay for their bill and everything so that like if they didnt it wouldnt make my credit really bad..well, with 4 people on the contract, the bill after a few months went up to I think over $2000. Still havent paid, but the company went bankrupt because NOBODY paid their bills..

sounds like she had roaming/long distance charges.
most overages for a normal cellphone bill are aprox 30c minute.
but if you add in roaming (that is bouncing off another network, even if you think your in the 'caling area'), can add an additional 65c or more.
then if you factor in long distance..woah.
i've heard of $5k phonebills. But i'm glad I wasn't the rep that took that call that day!
But yes, cellphones can be quite costly, and it's always good to read your contract and understand all the charges, so you don't get a bad surprise.

The highest I've ever paid was around $100. I think that was because of some long distance text messages.

for my cell had getting bill 100 dollors for every months.. of course if anyone everhad a right to be arrogant it would be bill joy.. joy helds code to the highest possible standard..

some guy on the news had a phone bill that was $36,000. only cuz he used it to surf the internet..he said wen he purchased the phone part of his plan was unlimited internet access..but something happened and yada yada his phone bill was that much...
