Yrs in the past while this became quite a Christian us of a they even swore in courtroom on a bible and ended with so help me God . yet now that we've fallen extra advantageous faraway from God they think of they'd swear or be sure an oath to something .in fact in case you seem back you will see that maximum extreme papers the place signed saying interior the 300 and sixty 5 days of our Lord 1886 or what ever date .humorous element is that the bible fortold of the falling away and we nevertheless have a splash extra to flow.

The question is...why?
It's been the presidential oath since Washington. Some things are sacred and better left alone. Next somebody will be asking if we should abandon the Pledge of Allegiance.

No we should not abandon the oath It has been here sense the country has been freed from the english so why give in to the one that don't believe in are ways If they what to be are commander and cheif they should go by are beginnings

We should make certain the pres lives up to that oath. Seems that the only presidents in the past 40-50 years who actually read the Constitution was John F Kennedy and Ronald Reagan. Others have totally ignored the document they were sworn to uphold.

The whole point of the oath is that you should abandon presidents who break it..and just because no one seems to care about that at present, why take the opportunity to force future presidents to behave themselves as they should away from a future electorate?

We need a change in this country Ron paul or obamma or another third party candidate. any of the rest are all the same nothing will change. dems and repubs are all about the same. hillary is anothe r conservartive its funny how the right hates her though.
