Okay so how often do I go, for how long do I have to stay there, what should I wear, about how much is it, will I turn orange, can I bring my iPod, and pretty much anything else you got I'll take haha. Thanks so muchhh :)

I'm a 16 year old girl, my parents are guyanese (south american) (i'm west indian) and my skin, although not super dark, is still quite dark.why is that a problem to so many people? It got to the point where i couldnt even look at myself in the mirror anymore..why do so many people think that lighter skin is so much more attractive..it is killing me inside..my skin is chocolate brown...and i want to think that any skin colour is beautiful.. i just have a hard time believing it when everyone badgers me about my dark skin compared to my siblings fair complexions....=((

i have bitten my nails for many years they are extremely short any shorter and the would bleed i also bit the skin around the sides of the tip. some of them are rounded at the tip and some are square. i have never pushed back my cuticles so they are long and i get lots of "hangnails"(the little things of skin that come up some times) and i would like to get my nails to be healthy and pretty looking. so what i am really asking is where should i start and what should i do. and i dont really have enough money to go out and get a big manicure or whatever but i can buy things at the store if its not to expensive. so please if you can help with even a little bit it would be appreciated.

I am 11 years old. My mom let me shave a years ago. Don't ask me questions like "Why are you shaving?" If you really want to know, just ask my mom. She knows. It was just that one time, we were at target and she was like, sorry but you really need to shave. wowo. So, back to the question, is it right if you shave your arms? I means, my mom is 29 and her arms do not have a single hair on it. She keeps on telling me to not shave my arms. Should I shave it or not?

Have had the piercing for over 3 months and it still is slightly bleeding. This is the second time it was pierced (same spot), first time it was fine (took it out and forgot to put it back in.) First time it was pierced there were no problems.

There was an ad in a magazine that said if you applied the Johnson's baby oil on while wet when you get out of the shower it locks in 10 times more moisture than just using regular lotion. Im thinking about taking their 10 day challenge.
Right now I use Aveeno positively radiant body lotion and it works pretty good. Does anyone use baby oil instead and does it really improve the moisture in your skin?

FYI: I have sensitive acne prone skin on my face so will using oil clog my pores or make my face breakout?

I'm just curious. For instance, if you apply lotion to your face, how much do your hands absorb in the process? 50%? I mean, your body can't tell if your face is applying lotion to your hands or your hands are applying lotion to your face. Unless the skin on your hands are more resiliant or something. Thanks!

My pores have recently been really huge and open and nothing i'm doing seems to be closing them up/making them smaller like what they use to be!

Some of them actually look a bit LARGER than dialated pores:(

I just got my second holes pierced on my earlobe 3 days ago. I have been cleaning them regularly and turning them. I make sure my hands are washed before I touch them and I've been wearing my hair up so it doesn't get caught. However, on my right side, the piercing is bringing me a LOT of pain. I can't sleep on that side because it hurts so bad, and when I clean that side, it's difficult for me to press the earring up enough to clean the hole. (On the right side, I can easily push the earring up and see & clean the hole with no problem.) I'm just wondering how to tell if it is infected or not? It hurts a lot when touched and when I look up close, I can't really tell if it's red or anything, but there seems to be some dry skin around the earring itself. The part that worries me the most is that it's really hard to push the earring up and clean it. (I hope you get what I'm sayingl) If it IS just irritated, how long will it last and what can I do to stop the pain? I hope it's not infected

have anyone tried "All purpose face cream" by jergens? its a mosturizer that you apply before makeup. but i dont understand the direction it says after putting the mosturizer on wipe it off with a tissue or leave overnight. so how's that gonna make foundation go on smoothly? if you're tried it did it work?

First when I wake up I cleanse, tone, and moisterize and if needed an acne spot treatment. At night I don't know if it would be okay to use an exfoliator, it says on the directions recommened daily, but would it be to much for my face. I can break out very easily. Thanks

Most people would look at me and ask what in the hell I have to be self-concious about and all the does for me is prove that I disquise my "faults" well. It ranges from minor things, like the scars all over my legs (clumsy child) to things that I just hate about myself like my toenails which refuse to grow. I was actually recently asked if I had surgery on my chin. I almost choked! Thats exactly the reason I live in Hawaii and dont own a single pair of shorts. And as far as the nails. I bite my finger nails really bad and Im embarassed to wear sandles or open toed shoes in fear that someone will think I chew my toe nails, no joke!

I was wondering how I can battle this anxiety that I have because it controls my life. It deters me from dating, and even forces me to make excuses for why I dont want to do certain things, like go get a pedicure for instnace.

There are many other things that bother me but, its not about whats wrong, but how I can learn to love myself more.

I can't decide whether to pierce the left or right side of my nose. I already have a cartilage piercing in the top of my left ear, I chose left when i had that done because i like to sleep on my right side. Would it be best to do the same with the nose piercing or would it look like too much on one side? You can't really see my cartilage piercing as its mostly covered by my hair! Does anyone have any personal preferences or ideas?
