So I have been reading things about this, that lightening can damage your skin, as well as tanning. I want to lighten my arms so that they seem to be the same color as my face. I plan on being a model, and I was told that you need to have great skin. I don't want a tan, or at least too much of one, because then I would look like everyone else. I need your peoples opinion, and I dont want crap about "trying to be michael jackson". I AM white skined, and dont take that as a racist comment. What would you pick and why?

the skin looks really dark, and even in the spots with no hair it looks as though i haven't shaved.

From a previous question, I have decided that it really isnt all that good to get a tan like, every week. So I was wondering if there is such of existence of a skin lightener/bleacher? If so, are there side effects to it? Is it permenant? What is the cheapest but most effective? And if I were to get a slight tan after I were to get it even, would I have problems with it?

Ok, so I see that tanning isn't the best solution. Is there some kind of skin bleacher? If so, what is the best, cheapest one? Is it temperary, or is it permanent, depending on how you take care of it? What are the risks if any?

Has anyone had either procedure done? Was it painful? Did you like the results? How long did they last? How much did you pay?

A friend and I are planning on going tanning this friday before a swimteam meet. So I wanted to know a few answers to my questions.
1- I have a farmer tan, will it darken the area, or get the rest of my skin the same color? If it does, is there annythin the people can do to even it out? 2- How long will the tan stay? 3- How long should I stay in the bed to get an effective, but not lobster red tan?

I have body odor, and i like to know what people think, when they first smell it. Where the BO is coming from, and reasons it might be there.
