Always massage with light nd feathery touch. Start from the outer corner of the eye, move below your eye using forefinger.

As you reach near your nose, take a 'U' turn and massage with light touch over upper lid towards outer corner of the eye.

massage both eyes simultaneously, with both hands !!

Up and out,
From the insertion of the muscle to the origin.
Massage there with a feather touch, otherwise you can tear the tissues and create wrinkles...
Never massage in a downwards motion! (forehead to nose for example)

Do what makes you comfortable with but don't forget to hit the pressures points around the eyes & just apply good enough pressures. I'm a good PT.:)
