From a previous question, I have decided that it really isnt all that good to get a tan like, every week. So I was wondering if there is such of existence of a skin lightener/bleacher? If so, are there side effects to it? Is it permenant? What is the cheapest but most effective? And if I were to get a slight tan after I were to get it even, would I have problems with it?

Ask Michael Jackson. He went from dark ***** to Caucasian, so if he can go to that extreme you should be able to just lighten up a tad. Narrowing your nose down to a sharp razor blade is a different matter and I doubt if you need to go that far. For that, call Gillette.

You cannot counter the damaging (cancer causing) effects of a tan by lightening your skin. The damage is caused by the radiation that makes your skin darker.
You can lighten your skin with castor oil and dandelion leaves. By making a blender mix of dandelion leaves (no fertilizers or pesticides of course), castor oil then spread it on your face for half an hour, you can lighten your skin, like blotches, etc. This will not undo the damage that is caused by tanning. It is only as permanent as your skin --- your skin sheds a little everyday. So the bleaching will last less than a week.
Don't forget, eating fruit and veggies, especially organic, wil reduce your risk of cancer!

Yeah actually there is.I use some skin whitening(pretty much lightening) products that work. there are bleaching soaps too. Godiva skin care products work. their lightening products line includes licorice extract which is the most effective lightening ingrdient there is. check it out: www.godivaskincare.com
they have creams, lotions, deos, etc etc.

As mentioned, soap only affects the top layer of skin. Tattoos sit between the 5th and 6th layer of skin. I doubt the soap will affect the tattoo at all.
