i am gettin my tongue pierced in 2 weeks n i am relli scared, bt i am deff, gna do it! i am just bit woried tho, coz i am gettin it dun behind my folke's back, n 3 weeks after i get it dun i hav an orthodontist opp n was wondering if i could take it out during that time, and if it would close? the oppointment will be from 15mins to 45mins. because i relly want it and that is the onli time i can get it dun, i hav no prob wit skwl coz they r allowd, bt dus ice relli help the swellin go down? please reply asap!!! fanx!! =P

I've heard that once you get it put in, if you take it out it will be difficult and painful to put in again.
I don't think it would close up in an hours time but it might bleed a bit.

It has no longer something to do with orientation, actual some do it for giving yet another female exhilaration like adult men do, yet i know alot of at once females with tongue piercings...a piercing or tattoo can't tutor if somebody is gay or no longer.

OoO Juss to Start it off Please Dont take offence To anything i Say.........I dont think it would be a Good idea if u have to go to a orthadonist appt Becuz 1 The Peircing Could get infected I have herd that Someone got it pierced and their Tounge Fell Off From Infection...2 U could possibly git introuble by ur Peeps & 3 Think Wisely... iii hope i helped ♥

Never hide a piercing from your parents, they'll find out sooner or later. Also, if you take it out for the appointment, there will be signs that the orthodontist will be able to see. Don't get it pierced it you are hell bent on hiding it your whole life.

# 1 Keep it clean! Use biotine mouth wash or listerne.
# 2 eat lots of ice it will help the swelling go down faster
# 3 stay away from folks, u won't make sense to them

you will be very swollen for at least 2 days. you will not want 2 talk because u may not make any sense.. hehe funny but true.
that dr may have u take it out permanently. it all depends what they will b doing to your mouth. if u take it out, it may close for that short period of time.

You could stay home and learn how to spell, that would make your parents proud of you. I know people that did that and chip their teeth. If God wanted you to have holes in your tongue he would of put them there.
