I'm just curious. For instance, if you apply lotion to your face, how much do your hands absorb in the process? 50%? I mean, your body can't tell if your face is applying lotion to your hands or your hands are applying lotion to your face. Unless the skin on your hands are more resiliant or something. Thanks!

Most of the lotions are 0%. They are too thick and just sit on top of your skin. This is why they feel greasy and oily.

If you use one that actually absorbs you will moisturize your hands about equal.

If you are looking for a great moisturizer that actually hydrates and not just cover up the dryness. I highly recommend the Hydrating Creme Concentrate for Body by Bee-Luscious. It is amazing!!!!

There's one thing the cosmetics companies don't tell you about the application of their products. NEVER put your fingers in the product. The bacteria from your fingers breaks down the product and makes it less effective and greatly diminishes its appearance. (The idea is to get you to buy a new jar before the old is used up.) Use a plastic applicator or a clean make up sponge to dip into a jar or pour onto it from a bottle. Then apply with clean fingertips only. You will get much more on your face, with much less waste.
