my question is serious, instead of manufacturing arms and then a phoney war to use them, HOW MANY SOLAR PANELS ( AND JOBS MAKING THEM ) COULD THE WEST HAVE PROVIDED WITH THE VAST AMOUNT OF MONEY SPENT ON WARFARE.
I heard a figure of $2billion a week and thought the money might have been better spent making our own electricity/power rather than raping an innocent country of their resources. surely it equates to 1 million solar panels a week and jobs lost in the arms industry would be replaced by jobs making solar panels and associated products/services?
Anyone out there got any SENSIBLE opinions?
Anyone done the maths to see if my theory stands up?
I'll expect the usual PRO-US abuse, but history is already proving the futility immorality & failure of the phoney war on terrorism.
I am British and paying a fortune to heat/light my humble home, as well as paying immense taxes to send my friends sons off to be killed in an illegal war.
Id rather be paying for solar panels on my house

I have a 5.5kW 3 phase motor (415v) on a vacuum pump.
We have measured the amps on each phase with a clamp meter and have found two phases are around 9 amps whilst the third is measuring 10.6 amps. The motor is configured in Star (one strap across three of the terminals).

Is this difference enough to cause a problem?
What would the problem be? Noisy, alternating speed??
The motor name plate states amps as 13.5. Will this be full load current? Typically how many amps would you expect a motor to draw if the full load current was 13.5 amps.

Any help very much appreciated as we are going to begin dismantling the vacuum pump any minute now and don't want to if the motor is suspect. Still got Christmas shopping to do / start!

If I was in any muslim/jewish country, I would celebrate their religious holidays (apart from fasting, but I would do the big meal/party at the end)
I've done thanksgiving, diwali and dasara, hogmonay, st.patricks and even burn's night.
not having a tree/turkey/presents is like cutting your nose off to spite your face.
why dont they join in? its the national tradition. It comes across as rude.

i'm hunting by a food plot about the size of a football. there are two logging roads that connect to the plot, that is the only way to get the plot. there are lots and lots of fresh track in and all around the plot. there is a small creek about 250 yds away with running water. i position myself at the back of the plot so that i can cover and can see down both roads. or i move to the other side of the plot which ever position is down wind of where the deer come in and out. i still hunt from daylight to about 10 am then start stalking. i'm seeing all these signs but have yet to see a deer. how would you hunt this area. any advise i could try
