You know when someone gives you a tutorial on something, and they show you a picture of a file or something that popped up??how do you do that?

Where do I go to correct this? It's a new comp. so I'm sure it's just a matter of fixing the settings.

Like, if I click on the sound button at the bottom of the screen, and move it up or down, then it works but if I go to a YouTube/etc. vid and try to lower or increase the volume, it just stays at the same volume level as the button at the bottom of the screen.

I have been right clicking to delete items, but how do I get the recycle bin back to dump the trash?

There was a report in yahoo that firefox was the only browser left battling Internet Explorer, They forgot to mention the regular mozilla browser, and more importantly OPERA!! All are far superior to Microsofts IE, and never get much use simply because Microsoft doesn't bundle their competitors software with windows (Duh), and the fact that microsofts Active X platform is taking over sites like this (active x = spyware that is legal by the way) and firefox and opera dont readily accept these without extensions or add-ons (Explorer required a lot of these too, but downloads them in the background so you dont notice), which ARE available easily, you just have to click the button a couple of times! Anyhow, the question is, WILL YOU PEOPLE PLEASE GIVE FIREFOX OR OPERA A GOOD CHANCE? Download one or the other, you will love them once you get used to them. Firefox is a little more like IE now that MS has stolen their design, but Opera is a piece of art (Very Beautiful) Try them, please!

today my laptop gave me limited acces to my computer, so i can't use anything on my computer, everytime i log on, it ask me to purchase a product key but it's like $89 or to use this automotive phone system to activate my product key. If i used a product key from one of my friend's laptop will it work?

Okay, i decided to wipe my computer and start off with a clean slate. To do that I renstalled XP home edition while wiping out everything that was there before. My only problem was that I cannot find my product key so my screne is just staring back at me waiting for a product key and i don't have one. I didn't even thing of this until i got that far. Help! What am I suposed to do now? This is a legetimate copy of XP but my brother gave me this computer with it already installed years ago so I don't even know where he bought it from. I can install Linix but I can't play my games on Linix. Or can I? I love point and click games. And don't suggest Vista because I don't even want to touch that can of worms!

There is an ISNUMBER function, but is there a way to only do something if the number is an integer?

I was think of something like this:
=IF(ISNUMBER((1/8)*$D5+(1/8)*F$3),(1/8)*$D5+(1/8)*F$3,"")
but instead of IFNUMBER, some kind of IFINTEGER

There is an INT that just rounds it to an integer, but that's not what I want.

I want to stay in the 50-100$ RANGE. i hate movie maker! I use it but it wont even let me upload any of my mp3's or itunes songs... its really annoying. i also wanna be able to edit VIDEOS! Not from a real video camera but from a regular camera that plays sound and videos. (equivelent to a video cam but not 1) Just name a good program. It must let me

Do that thingy that lets you fuzz up stuff (like genitiles)
Be in the 0-100$ ange (y spend 50$!!!???)
let me do everything (or a lot of stuff) that you can do with a real video camera.

here's the deal
i lost my copy of bioshock right?
but i managed to make an image of it
and when i mount it in alcohol 120
i can install it
but then when im installing
i get a securom error
telling me to have my real copy again
and i dont wanna pay 49.99 again

I'm confused, I have a 20 inch imac desktop with mac os x leopard installed on it, its got boot camp assistant, but after it partitions the disk, it tells me to insert a "Windows installer disc", I dont have anything like this, so where do I get this from exactly? Also, I partitioned the disk so that 32 GB is available for the windows portion, is that enough or should I divide it equally? I just wanna play pc games on it.

So I've made my drop-down list and it works fine, I just want to fine tune it, but not sure if what I want to do is even possible...

When I roll my mouse over the field that contains the drop-down list, the graphic arrow appears, and then I can click on that to reveal my list. Is there a way to make that arrow show up permanently, so that I don't have to investigate each and every cell to see if it has a drop-down list? I just want to be able to look at my page and easily see what boxes are drop-down lists.

The second question: can I change the size of the drop-down list so that I don't have a scroll bar on the right side of the list, and so that all my options so up without having to scroll to them?

I'm setting up basic spreadsheet to help me track my finances. I'm a novice at excel, but I've figured out how to get the columns to total up. What I need to know is the formula or function to get my grand total outgoing funds to subtract from my grand total incoming funds. Anyone got any ideas?

i have premium i need to download a video that 4GB .but file been split upto 100Mb parts of winrar..so i have to download one by one ....other wise download will be slow if i try to download more 2 parts in one go so if there any download manager or some kidda software that i can use to download the whole thing ...like i can load the all ULS'rs then one is done next one will start automatically ?...

My XP won't play any sound at all - when i click on windows media player it says "Can't perform operation, low memory" - when i click on windows movie maker it says "windows movie maker cannot be used because the required audio hardware cannot be found on your computer" - where the vidio should be on youtube it just says "hello, you either have javascript turned off or you have and old version of adobe flash player" i've downloaded the one it tells me to and still the same - i've deleted lots and lots of files and still nothing - i've checked everythings slotted in the back properly - i've tested the speakers with my mp3 and the work ok. Please help!!! oh and when i minimise things they dont show up in the taskbar and my spywares broken - oh and i've also scanned for viriuses and such like and nothing major came up. I'll shut up now lol x

I'm trying to make a poster using Print Perfect Platinum desktop publishing software. I want to save it as a PDF so I can transfer it to a ump drive and take it to the print shop to have printed. When I save it as a PDF, and then open the file , my one page poster is broken into 4 pages. How can I make it only be on one page?! Urgent please!!!!

Also, how many DPI's should I save it as?!
