what is the best way to backup all the files and programs?i have 149 gig of storage and almost used up half of it that means i have 74 gig of data to backup. from what i know, burning dvd or cd disc might cause u to lose the registration info so what should i do?

When I turn on my computer, this error message appears:
"Error: The copied MBA ROM code failed a checksum. Operating system not found". But I can enter setup page. Operating system is Windows 98 NT, Millennium.

My computer was showing some error when i scanned it with the "REGISTRY MECHANIC SOFTWARE". to remove the error i need the registry key (or registry number) of the REGISTRY MECHANIC SOFTWARE. the registry key is available on the web but it is NOT free and is a bit expensive for a person like me! Can anyone tell me the registry key or the registry number of the REGISTRY MECHANIC SOFTWARE so that i can enable the software to delete the errors from my computer. the error removal is impossible without registering the software, and for that i need the registry key. or can anybody tell me the website that has the registry key of the REGISTRY MECHANIC SOFTWARE.Thankyou!
