I have husband and wife but dont have kids of their own. I want them to have a big happy family. I also wanted to know the different cheats, if any, in Sims2.

Just go to bed and "Try for Baby". Don't really need a cheat. i don't remember seeing one for that. Have fun!

Do you mean the Sims2 for PC? If so you can either "try for baby" in a hot tub or bed. Or adopt. Contact me if its for another console and not PC.
Cheats:
Press Ctr, Alt & C (I think)
move_objects on = (that helps with moving unmovable things such as people, windows and doors)
motherload = ($50,000)
those are really the only ones you need unless you like making videos and removing small glitches.

Which version of Sims2 do you have? I know that in the Xbox version there are no children, no aging, and no 2nd floors. I believe that other console versions are probably the same.

You have to make them have a strong point of love. You will get a button to WooHoo/ have a baby.
You can gaze at the clouds during daytime or view the telescope during nightiime and just wait for an alien abduction. Once you get your sim back, they may be pregnant.

There are no cheats for that... they can either adopt, by calling the adoption agency, or they can relax on the bed together, and elect to "woohoo" and try for a baby. Good luck. :)

When you're trying for a baby, use the code FORCETWINS or EATCHEESECAKEALOT to have twins.
