Software - December 2007

I just upgraded from an ATI Radeon HD 2400 Pro to a Nvidia GeForce 8600 GTS, and I'm a bit confused. ATI comes with the catalyst control center which allows you to configure the video settings and such, but there was no software given to me with my Nvidia card. Is there such a program that allows you to configure your settings with Nvidia? Something similar to the Catalyst Control Center?

Since Vista is really, in my opinion, not that good, I wish to install XP. I have the XP software. I also have a recovery disk of my computer (Toshiba A-200 AH6). It would be really nice if someone could tell me how I must proceed to install successfully XP. I have already put all my documents in an external hard drive. Thank you guys!

I download free trials of anti-virus software from download.com quite frequently. I am paying for a 1mb connection, but I never even get speeds anywhere near that. The most I have gotten is 200KB/s. Is AT&T limiting my bandwith?

I have a new Laptop with Windows Vista, and have discovered it has not got Microsoft Word. Can anyone tell me where I can get it from, CD Rom or Download??
Also the same for PowerPoint.

I was going to throw an old PC into the garbage but then decided on a use for it. But when I instal the software it informs me that "this software can only be installed on WinNT 4 (from SP6) Win2000 SP4" etc. There is Win 95 on the PC and I'm curious if it worthwhile spending time trying to find such a thing for Win 95. Does anyone know for sure?

My digital camera works on WinxXP, but I get no result from tuning brightness, contrast from the camera setting.
Is there is any software that can tune them, or add an effect on the camera image while it broadcast as a webcam or recording??

Is there anyway I can download software for my daughters computer on to my PC and burn it to a disc or use my jump drive to transfer it to her computer. We don't have her computer set up to the internet (she's only 8). Thanks for any help

Is there a way to have 3 diffrent choices of formulas? like for example ( 1year, 2year, and 3year) I need to calculate something diffrent for each one and I will have them in a drop down box. When someone chooses one, then it will have to calculate the correct formula for it to work. I tried the "IF" but it doesn't seem to work.

I have a sony vaio. When it boots up and gets to the desktop it reboots. I dont have much time and nothing I click on works. In the middle of the desktop a small window appears (trend micro anti spyware 3.0) I cant click on it and I dont have enough time to get any windows open before it reboots. When it reboots a blue script screen appear but disapears before I can read.

I've done this before but am quite rusty. I have a list on one tab that I want to use as a drop-down list on another tab.

This might be an easy question for excel users, but I'm not familiar with excel. I typed in a book catalogue with the titles of books in column b, and left column A empty. Now I just want to enumerate the books in order from 1 to 500, with 1 being the first book, 2 the second, and so on. Can I do this with one function instead of typing 500 or more consecutive numbers, one after another?
