where i can make a slideshow with 100+ pictures and be able to burn the slideshow to a dvd to be able to watch the dvd on a dvd player? what program can i use?

Nero Photo Show deluxe actually allows you to make a slide show and burn it to DVD and even play it in your DVD player.

Try ProShow Gold.
I've used this to put together slideshows for the past couple of years for my two kids' soccer and swim teams. I'm the 'team photographer' for both, and find this has all the flexibility I need with a pretty easy user interface.

You can use Wondershare Sideshow Builder, it's a very easy-to-use program with very clear work flows and a user-friendly interface.
