what is the difference between anti-spyware & anti-virus?
plz suggest some free good sofrware for those?

Virus infects your computer and replicates itself, and spread to other computers, and may do some dastardly deeds as well.
Spyware spies on you, things such as SSN (or national ID for non-Yanks), credit card number, address, phone, web surfing habits, and so on.
Both are usually installed without you knowing about them. The latter is usually slipped in through some other programs you download.
Free antivirus? Free AVG, and Anti-vir
Free anti-spyware? Spybot

The diff between Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware is that Antivirus are used to Heal Viruses like Trojans,Worms,Lop etc.
Spywares are those which watches and collects important informations like username,password,details etc.
To stop Spyware Anti-Spywares are used .
AVG Anti-virus Free Edition is best known free Antivirus.
