how do i get sound on my windows vista as it has gone off thank you

Its just like Xp go to control panel, then click on sounds and audio devices. make sure ever thing is checked. If it is and you still dont get sound after you have checked your speakers and connections....simply restore your system to a time when you knew it worked.

Maybe your speaker is turned off. On the very bottom of your screen, on the right hand side, you should see a little speaker icon, click it, and you can adjust the volume. If this doesn't work, maybe your speaker/audio system is broken.
