As above or

For taking a snapshot of the whole screen use: Open a new word doc CTRL+PRTSC (On the image you wish to copy e.g desktop) then click on word doc, CTRL+V or right click paste. Sometimes this may not work but CTRL+V will. To snapshot a window only but not the whole screen use: e.g.(Control Panel ) CTRL+ALT+PRTSC then click on word doc CTRL+V or right click paste. I hope this helps?

If you can see it on your screen then a screen shoot will copy it.
If you only want a part of that then edit the rest out using paint of another image editor.

Without understanding what you mean by status bar (mine OS is in Italian and I can't remember anything called a status bar) it's a little difficult you for me to say more, I've starred your Q in the hope that some on else will know.

By Status Bar, Do you mean Taskbar?

Which OS are you using?

ADDED come on Bruno I am trying to help but I need answers before I can give one other than that I have given so far!

Ok the best I can offer and I think to only solution here is.
To first press PRTSC top right hand part of the screen and then copy it to a word doc,
Once done open paint and and then press CTRL+V
You will then have the whole screen in an image form.

Now you can cut out and copy the part of the image to a word doc so you can then copy it by typing it out!

Once done you can recopy and paste in the address line.

Sorry there is no other way that I can think of and I would be very surprised if there is, however I will be able to chat with a man who can give me all such answers on Monday.
If you don't find any other way for the moment that's it.
