I want to create a drop-down list in a cell that changes the values of other cells to a predetermined value. Basically, I am attempting to make a comparison sheet that lets me pick an element on a list that allows for a quick comparison of their values in a small space so I don't have to scroll all the way to the other side of the page to verify numbers.

Ex.

If the list on A1 reads mercury, then that would set A2, A3, and A4 to display preset numbers. But if the list reads Helium, then A2, A3, and A4 would display a different set of pre-set numbers.


So...how can I create the function I need? :)

I want to make a recording (basically an audio-card you can call it) and burn it onto a CD. I also want to mix music into the "card" as I speak. I don't own a microphone so I'd appreciate specific details of what I need and programs I can download to do it.

when i try to download the new itunes it wont let me i tried downloading it off itunes and other sites it wont let me. i have the old itunes version that come with the ipod shuffle but i got an ipod video off the internet and it didnt come with the CD software disc. but anyways when i got to download it this pops up "internet explorer cannot downloaditunessetup.exefromitunes.com
the connection server was reset"

wtf does that mean????

Finale always seems to be "on top" like Microsoft is above most applications. Sibelius is becoming more popular. Which is better and why? Which is easier to use? How? Do not include the Finale Notepad, because it's free.

Ok so i have tried numerous ways to fix my computer (Windows XP Home) and it seems the attempts have only made things worse. It started out as a hal.dll error and now it is something with the harddrive. What happens when i turn the computer now is; it gives me th normal start screen with bios or boot menu choice then goes to the following screen:

I was downloading something off of limewire i know its bad. So when it finishes downloading I go and try and find it in my hard drive not there. I look it up in spotlight, using the exact words it shows in limewire not there. Then my computer starts acting slow and I cannot open another application at all If I clicked on one it would just bounce on the dock and never open itunes was playing during the downloading process and after it was done. So I try and restart, I got to the blue apple and click Restart, does not work. I try it again, nothing. Then I try to log out and restart from there, cannot log out. I unplug my computer,Then I wait a couple of minutes and turn it on. Normal start up, same pace as before. I log in and icons in my dock that I had before are gone I did not have Mail in my dock, and now it was in there, but its icon was a ? same with apple os x icon. i run safari and a window says update has been installed i didnt install anything, it wanted me totransfer psswrds

I too am looking for a bit of hep. I just finished formating my HD and it asked me to remove the disc, and it will re start. Once it restarted it is nothing but a black screen with a flashing bar. Any one know how I would proceed from here? I have tried restarting again with no luck. I even tried re installing the disc in the drive but still no luck. "

I got some "smart" answers. MY next question is how do I instal the OS? I was under the impresion that the recovery disc from Toshiba was supposed to have the OS on there as well.

Any help is appreciated

I just bought a new computer, with Win Vista (Home Premium, 32 bits) installed. No re-installation disk and no (evident) software to create such disks.

Which software should I use to make an image of it so I can re-install it "clean" later?

(Long ago, on antoher PC, I used Norton Ghost... Is it still the best software? Does it work with Win Vista?)

My uncle, has had the cheek!.. Too block me from getting on messenger on my computer!.

Well atleast so my dad has told me!.
Because apparently it was slowing things down. I know this isn't true because when i use the computer everything works fine. I thinck it's just my dads approach too technolagy (He doesn't like it)

When i try and sign in a message comes up saying i have the wrong email or password. I know i don't have it wrong. How can i unblock this if he really has?

We have upgraded too 8mb broadband in the past couple of days and i was wondering if that might have anything to do with it?.. Has it changed my settings or something??

Please help me!.. I need to get online to speek to my boyfreind.

hey eveyone i just bought a laptop and i installed itunes....i have a cd with some music i just added and want to put it on my ipod...when i put in the cd it shows "audio cd" then i plug in my ipod "nouri's ipod" when i try and drag and drop it, it shows like that line through a circle thing...what do i do?
