That's tough if you don't have backup copies. You could try the software at the link below:

Do you save your files to a server or directly to your PC? If you save them to your server one of the IT guys might be able to retrieve your file. If you saved it to your PC instead of the server, then the likelihood of them retrieving it is not good at all. Servers normally keep a day by day back up. Even if you had a file recovery person try doing the VERY EXPENSIVE job of trying to retrieve the old file if you replaced it on your PC and not on the server they may not be able to retrieve it because you basically overwrote the old file. That means that it wrote the new file over the old file, basically that would equate to erasing the old file and putting the new file write where the old file was. When you do that, it is totally unretrievable.

So if you saved it to a server you have a chance. If you saved it to the PC, tough luck...you have a whole bunch of work to redo then.

you might look under c:\document and setting\your user name\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel
