thats fouling up my computer,i looked into my computers control panel and deleted the offending screensaver,that is i though i did it doesnt show up on the control panel cause i went there again to see maybe i forgot to remove it and the screensaver wasnt there but the dang thing pops up whenever i leave my computer alone for ten or fifteen minutes,then when i get back and move te mouse around things get hairy,i get this big hourglass that i cant temove and i wind up shutting off the computer manually to break the circuit.when i right it the computer goes back to normal until i have to leave my station again,what could this be,its driving my insane!!!!

I had a recently purchased laptop with a Vista OS installed, 512 MB memory, L1 L2 cache memory, Core 2 duo processor, 120 GB hard drive, yet, the computer is very slow in opening an application and crashes when i opened more than 4 applications. What's the matter?

Where can I get something that will scan for viruses, and adware, and remove them? Im looking for something that people have actually tried because I've had bad luck with downloading so called "virus scanners" before. They either add viruses instead of getting rid of them, or they claim to be free, find 500000 viruses, and then tell me I need to pay them a bunch of money to get rid of them. So whats a legit site that'll find them, and remove them, for free, without adding viruses/adware to my computer??

i used avg to scan and it deleted the ‘haha.js’ file. i dont think that my laptop is affected with the msn virus but after the file is erased, i cannot click into my c and d drives anymore it showed "cannot read script "D:\Haha.js ,This is inclusive of my thumbdrive too. i need help. i cannot format my laptop because i have important assignments in both the 3 drives. can anyone give me a solution without having to format it entirely? please and thanks.

I have the Nuance disk...I have the support nuance page and have attempted to download the Papaerport professional 11 version. I have attempted to Download from the Nuance site using Windows Vista which is compatible. I have attempted to download from the Nuance CD which gives me "close files so paperport can load-you have open files that paperport needs to use....Nuance wants to bill me to fix this problem and my employer already paid 200$ for this program.

OK The problem occurs on the last part when I click to finish, the message reads the following files are open please close files so paperport can load. I dont see anything 'Open" Thus for twenty hours and 4 weeks of trying I cant get it to work. Yes I do work alone and know nothing about computers except all the working programs.

well i recently reformatted my computer and i deleted the previous windows copy and installed a legit one. After doing this my computer was very fast and no problems, just recently i installed windows xp MCAFEE. and my compter seems to run a little slower, its quite agitating. does mcafee make computers slower? i also have it installed with windows defender download from the xp site, does this contribute to the problem? thanks

I just bought this one, and there was no driver with it. I have one computer with 98 and another with Vista. The one with 98 needs a driver, and I have been looking online for one, but I can't find one. Can anyone help me? It has to be a free driver.
