Will there ever be a service pack 3 for XP? If so, when will it be released?

Yes there is a SP3 to be released for XP, but Microsoft have put back the release date so many times, I believe it is to be expected mid-2008.
A word of caution, there are some sites claiming they have SP3 for download, stay well away as its just some improvements???, cobbled together by programmers who have nothing better to do.
This unofficial SP3 is also full of Worms and Trojans !

Yes, Microsoft has created Service Pack 3 for XP, it will be release in 2-3 months, maybe less. There are alot of fixes that need to be done. They were about to release it last month, but eventually learned that they were not ready after all.
