thats fouling up my computer,i looked into my computers control panel and deleted the offending screensaver,that is i though i did it doesnt show up on the control panel cause i went there again to see maybe i forgot to remove it and the screensaver wasnt there but the dang thing pops up whenever i leave my computer alone for ten or fifteen minutes,then when i get back and move te mouse around things get hairy,i get this big hourglass that i cant temove and i wind up shutting off the computer manually to break the circuit.when i right it the computer goes back to normal until i have to leave my station again,what could this be,its driving my insane!!!!

I have my wallpaper and screensaver set to none - in order to free up memory.

right-click on the desktop
cl Properties
cl the down arrow below "screensaver" and click blank
cl apply
cl o.k.

I've seen stuff like this happen with the Open_GL of a video driver gets corrupted. If you redownload your video drivers and re-install them, it should fix your Open_GL problems and allow you to view the screensaver.

If you still want to get rid of it, you'll need to find the screensaver in your Windows/System32 folder and delete it. Then you'll have to set your screen saver to something different and apply all the changes. After doing all of that, it doesn't hurt to restart your computer (just as a safety procaution). Now just wait and see what happens.

they could be a virus on your computer or you could have always clicked cancel by mistake instead of ok and changed some settings

screensavers are notorious for containing viruses .. run a good scanner and then try to locate it in system32 and delete it ..
